Art Heals: The music on this CD has a therapeutic nature as being shown to make you feel calm, focused and sleepy, as well as helping you to let go of stress. This effect is especially due to the music’s intentional ability to break away from stating any sense of time (- time pressure being one of the main issues causing destructive, unhealthy tensions in man) and establishing a mental and emotional space which is fully and forcefully present. If you have difficulties falling asleep or in other ways entering a resting, focused state of being it is highly recommendable to utilize this music as an aid for reaching through to your inner calmness and stillness and thus invigorate and reload your vital resources.
All music and word like sounds are created by Maria Jardardottir using her own voice as the only sound source with the single additional effect on the acoustic voice being a room reverb. All pieces are performed and recorded LIVE, and the recording of the pieces was done chronologically as follows; Fantasy on 26. 01. 2006, Reflection on 27. 01. 2006 and Spirit on 28. 01. 2006.
