| As I see it, this piece is a fairly typical result of how I in composition combine and balance the facets; melody, harmony and rhythm. It is melodically friendly, harmonically it goes from being quite pretty to more peculiar, and rhythmically it is a bit rude and misbehaving. As often happens when I create music with specific vocal pronunciation, the lyric for it came out in one of my fantasy languages. Hence, in this case; no actual verbal meaning, but solely sound direction. Other than that, most of the vocal sounds (syllables and timbres) produced in this piece are completely free and improvised. - Maria Jardardottir |
